Spark

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Spark — who can join, what is expected once you are here, and what happens if that is ignored.

Version 2026-09-10

The service

Spark is operated by Bold Italic Studio. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Spark.

You must be at least 18 years old. We enforce this at sign-up and will remove accounts that misrepresent age.

Your account

One account per person, tied to your Google sign-in. You are responsible for activity on your account. Impersonation, fake profiles and scraping are prohibited.

Conduct

Be honest and be decent. Harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance — reported to authorities), commercial solicitation, and requests for money are prohibited and grounds for immediate removal.

Report and block tools are built in. Reports are reviewed and may lead to warnings or bans at our discretion.

Content

You own what you post and grant us the licence needed to operate the service — storing, displaying and transmitting your content to the people you interact with. We do not use your content for advertising.

Hitch (the AI assistant) produces suggestions; you are responsible for what you actually send.

Credits

Some features cost credits. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable and are not refunded on account deletion, except where a feature failed and the ledger shows an automatic refund.

Termination and liability

You can delete your account at any time (Me → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.

Spark is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what members do on or off the service — meet people carefully and in public places first.

If a clause of these terms is found invalid, the rest remain in force. These terms are governed by the law of the controller's jurisdiction, without limiting rights you hold as a consumer where you live.
